I just put the finishing touches on the rough draft. I'm only about 2 weeks later than I wanted to be, but my editors have been hard at work making me sound smart for quite a while - they've been getting chapters as I finish them.
I have to go thru some of it to make some rough corrections, and then compile it into a pdf. I'm going to then crank out the test refined character sheets. Once I've done that, I'll be sending it out to those backers who backed at the $55 level and above.
Fair notice - it's rough and there are no images at all. But hey, you will have a FULL working version of the Refined Core. I have to say, I cannot be any more proud of this effort than I am right now. I cannot wait to share this with all of you!
On a related note, I have a little bit of updated artwork to share. Ok. I have a little bit of AWESOME artwork to share. Here is the latest sketch from my artist Scott Rosema. It's primarily the back cover right now, but you can start seeing his amazing vision and talent.

Super quick update:
Backerkit has approved everything, and surveys are starting to go out in batches. If you do not get your survey by tomorrow evening, contact me immediately so I can get things taken care of.

Quick note to everyone! The Backerkit information is all entered, and it is officially in their hands for review. I expect to start sending out surveys Monday or Tuesday. So watch your email!
Once you get the email, we will be locking emails and orders on September 18th, and charging cards a bit later. I love having such a short turn-around on this game! Can't wait to get this to you in November!
The first 5 chapters (out of 8) are in editing right now, and I'm feverishly working on the last three. The Other Handbook is also being developed - the team and I are currently fleshing out the remaining mechanics that need to be hammered out, and then I get to start writing it.
Much to my amazement, I'm actually not as far behind as I thought, which bodes well!
